2007-08 Power Skate Information & Registration

  Fee –       Members $70   non-members $80 for 5 - 60 minute sessions

      Format -       Sessions 1 & 2 will run concurrently. In order to accommodate more skaters, those who register for both sessions will be placed on the list as space allows. This will be on a first sign-up first reserve basis. Specialized clinics will be offered after the start of the year. Additional power skate details are listed below including session dates & times.

The first 60 minute session Tuesday will be for Group 1 (Mites, U-10&12 girls, Squirt B and C skaters). The second 60 minute session will be Group 2 (Bantams, Pee Wees, Squirt A, and U15 girls).

Winter Club coaches are encouraged to participate in order to expand your understanding of technical skating instruction!  Contact Rene Cranston to sign up.

Power Skate sessions will be run by Rene Cranston and he will expand the focus to incorporate more stick work.  Rene has worked as a professional hockey skills instructor, which included power skating, for many high profile camps throughout North America.

Power Skate will be conducted on Tuesday nights and is specifically designed to supplement Winter Club’s player development model. There will be 2 five week sessions. The first 60 minute session each Tuesday will be for Group 1 (Mites, U12 girls, Squirt B and C skaters). The second 60 minute session will be limited to Group 2 (Bantams, Pee Wees, Squirt A, and U14 girls). Groups may be rearranged based on skill level, class size and interest. The cost will be $70 per 6 week session for Winter Club and University School skaters and $80 for all others. There will be a limit of 30 skaters for each session on a first come first serve basis, NO EXCEPTIONS.
