October 12 Referee Clinic

Dear Officials,

We are excited to kick off the upcoming season with an on-ice training session for all USA Hockey officials—both new and returning.

Please join us on:

• Date: Sunday, October 12th
• Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Check-in will begin at 9:15 am, training starts at 10:00 am sharply)
• Location: South Rink Ozaukee Ice Center, Mequon, WI
• Locker Room assignments will be listed on the Lobby Directories.

This session will include:

• Pre-ice instruction and warm-up: Guidance on positioning, signals, and skating fundamentals.
• On-ice game scrimmage: Live game scenarios where officials will receive real-time instruction.
• Evaluation and feedback: Personalized coaching to help strengthen officiating skills for the season ahead.

This is a valuable opportunity to sharpen your skills, build confidence on the ice, and ensure consistency across all levels of play. Whether you’re just getting started or have years of experience, your participation is key to maintaining the highest standard of officiating in our community.

If any of our seasoned officials would like to assist with instruction during this session, please reach out directly to me or to Bob Peschel. We are always looking for upcoming instructors to mentor the next wave of referees/linesmen.
